Paris R2: [6] Shahar Peer def. Karolina Sprem 6-4, 6-3

This match was pretty much on Sprem's racquet, Shahar didnt have to really do much to get this win. When Sprem hit a good shot, it was really good. But she hit more bad shots and when they were bad, they were really bad. Anywho, congrats to Shahar for making another QF this season.

Keep it up in the QF against Franny or Lucifer. Kadima Shahar!!

The match wasn't even over when you posted this

God, it's so frustrating to follow Karolina sometimes It's obvious she was the more talented player in this match, but she would go for a way too risky shot at crucial moments and Peer didn't even have to fight that much for it.

I really thought she could win

Karolina played really good, especially in 1st set...but she lost

Anyway, congrats Shahar!

I really think that for Karolina it was crucial to break at 1/1 in first set, she would then feel more confortable out there as front runner!
She lacks confidance and doubting herself with such gamestyle is suicide.
This was a chance, hopefully she gets more this year and doesn't fade away!

Congrats to Shahar, she is mentaly tough.

Re: Paris R2: [6] Shahar Peer def. Karolina Sprem 6-4, 6-3

i hate watching sprem matches, there is absolutely no consistency in the match and it is a borefest of 3 or 4 shot rallies. any player who can run and can successfully keep the ball deep will beat her as she will spray enough stupid errors to lose. the sort of player i could never be a fan of.

peer did ok, her coach was right, you don't have to play great to beat sprem just solid and consistent.

Ok, you said it already enough times, we all get it that you hate watching Sprem, seriously you say it every time you post in her result thread!
She didn't always play like this with sence of inevitable loss.
