Tennis Dreams That You've Had

Recently or a long time ago. Doesn't matter.

I've only had two in my life but both of them have involved my top two faves (female and male) getting angry.

1) 2009 YEC, Lena played JJ in a Round Robin match. She lost, and after GSM was called, she threw her racket down and screamed something nasty in Russian.

2) Fernando Verdasco made the finals of Wimbledon after an epic encounter with Grigor Dimitrov (of all people ) in the quarterfinals (he won 16-14 in the fifth). For some reason it skipped the semifinal. In the final, he was defaulted from the match late in the first set for hitting a linesperson over the head with his racket.

I've had a weird dream about tennis once, Not that I can remember but Sharapova was playing Dakota Fanning in a Aussie Open final. It was so weird.

Re: Tennis Dreams That You've Had

a couple nights ago i had a nightmare that the day after serena won the australian open she had a heart attack and died. it was later in the dream that it was learned that the heart attack wasnt that serious but she was still in a coma. i woke up sweaty and nervous cause it was one of those dreams that when you first wake up from, youre not sure if they happened or not.

Re: Tennis Dreams That You've Had

I had a really strange dream about Elena Dementieva about a year ago now;

My dream was that I was in Plymouth airport and I was meant to be flying to London with the school for a history trip but my friend gave me the wrong flight number, and instead, I ended up on a flight to Monte Carlo.

As I sat down, I got talking to a blonde-lady sitting next to me and we were getting along really well, and it suddenly occured to me that it was Elena Dementieva! But I wasn't 100% sure it was her (even though the tennis rackets were a giveaway) because it seemed weird that she was sitting in economy (not to mention the fact she was flying from Plymouth) so I asked her questions like, 'why are you going to Monte Carlo?' and 'have you ever played in France before' and 'do you like tennis?' but she kept saying that she didn't understand English (even though she was talking to me in English before). Then I looked round and she had disappeared, but I could see Vera. I finally then realised that it was definitely Elena and I wanted to ask her for a photograph, but by the time I had got off the plane, she had bolted down past customs and I couldn't find her at baggage.

Re: Tennis Dreams That You've Had

i've had two:

1) i was playing doubles with Kateryna Bondarenko against two complete randoms and she was playing terribly. Eventually her dress ended up blinding our opponents (i have no idea how) and then i woke up. it was rather strange.

2) i was watching venus play bartoli on this platform court in the middle of the ocean. like, literally, there was only court so if you hit the ball out it would land in the water. and of course the ocean was infested with like 5893279 sharks, which was awesome. i then decided that i needed venus' autograph, so i attempted to jump like a mile from wherever the hell i was to get to venus but instead i fell in the water. then i woke up.

Re: Tennis Dreams That You've Had

I had a dream I was playing Doubles on Wimbledon Centre Court (it was altered, however, with huge nets to catch flying out balls ) partnering Yanina Wickmayer against the Williams Sisters. Venus was serving horribly and Serena kept getting mad at her for hitting the nets in the sky (). Me and Nina were just having fun really. Anyway, the match just kept going on and on for hours, and eventually the crowd had all got bored and left and they decided to let all four of us to share the trophy because the final was insufferable

It was like Chaknetsova USO SF but x10 worse.

Re: Tennis Dreams That You've Had

great thread!! i have a recurring dream where I'm at the US Open and the female players have to play male players, and all i keep thinking about is how unfair it is and how hard it must be for the women to win.. in the back of my head i know that something isn't right, and i always have great seats.

Re: Tennis Dreams That You've Had

80% of my tennis dreams were about meeting Martina Hingis ! Had once, I don't know how Mirjana Lucic in my dreams 11 years ago ! 2 or 3 dreams about Caroline Wozniacki. That's it ! When you love some players you have them in your dreams when sleeping. But I don't remember how they went. But they were very weird in general.
