Forty Deuce (Cowbell)

I was wondering how many people on TF read this blog:

http://cowbell.typepad.com/

I really think it's brilliant. It's the only tennis blog I bother to read on a regular basis.

ugh.

Re: Forty Deuce (Cowbell)

Hmm...?

Seems like an interesting Blog. However, and unfortunately, he keeps reminding his readers, IN-CES-SANT-LY that he's not a Serena fan. I suppose the 8th time that he reminded me of this turned me off to the Blog as a whole.
Some captions and observations were humorous though.

^ The writer is a woman by the way, just saying.

I personally love the blog, doesn't take stuff too seriously but is a knowledgeable enough fan & not psycho-crazy for one particular player or anything so has a pretty wide spread of coverage of players/views etc. She isn't particularly a fan of my faves but I like her view of tennis as a whole & love her sense of humour (which you definitely have to have before you read most of the posts ). Probably not for everyone, particularly anyone who is easily riled by someone writing something in jest about their fave, but I like it. The podcasts are great too

Concerned but not consumed.

Re: Forty Deuce (Cowbell)

at the number of comments at the Cowbell.

Off the Baseline did this better (and was thorough to the point of OCD), yet nobody read it. Go figure.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Just take anything she says about your faves with a pinch of salt.

Re: Forty Deuce (Cowbell)

I love forty deuce! Best blog on the internet hands down. I been visiting and commenting there since it's early days. Very funny and creative take on tennis and pretty friendly to my faves.

Apathetic Ana Ivanovic fan.
