Wickmayer.
Zheng has done this before. Wickmayer is a young girl and did it with virtually no slam experience

Both were highly unimpressive taking advantage of flukey easy draws. But Zheng's was more impressive because at least she beat some half decent seeds along the way.

Jie beat some good players, and Wick really didn't after Razzano.

Jie 'cause she beat Maria Jose, and A-Bond on a big winning streak. Wickmayer didn't really beat anybody particularly good at the time.

That doesn't actually say a lot. Yes it's better to beat seeds then not. But I you don't get any seeds to beat, you can't beat any. You can't really hold it against Yanina.

For Wickmayer the players she met at that time, could have felt, for her, as if they were seeds.
In fact Zheng is also more experienced at slams, already participated at 20 slams. With a record of 24-20 WL in grand slams.

While Wickmayer made the SF in just her 7th grand slam appearance. With a record of 1-6 WL in grand slams.
If the OP would have used the 2008 Wimbledon SF, I would certainly pick Jie. But you cannot compare someone's first semifinal appearance with someone's second semifinal appearance, that's pure imbalanced.
