Does anyone else miss this kind of intensity?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh_1s1d4oZc

I love this match...so much intensity from both players. I never see this anymore in the WTA. I remember how in like 2005 I would wake up and be so exicited for Grand Slams but now the Grand Slams are just like meh..another tournament.

does anyone feel this way?

That match was only intense because Serena saved match points.

Re: Does anyone else miss this kind of intensity?

I can think of some matches this year which had a similar kind of intensity-

Serena vs Dementieva Wimbledon 09/ YEC 09/ Australian Open 09, Serena vs Vika Wimbledon 09

Venus vs JJ YEC 09, Venus vs Dinara (During the clay season this year)

I thought you mean she was just playing against herself that makes it so intense.
