I think it should go back to the USA. This is how I feel: The ATP and WTA season-ending tournaments should switch between New York and LA like the Toronto/Montreal tournaments. The women should be in LA one year and the men in NYC, then next year the men in LA and the women in NYC. I think that would be great for both cities. The crowds here help the tennis because it creates an electricity. The crowd in Doha is so dead and reserved that it's really bringing the level of play down. Your thoughts?

It should be in Europe. USA has enough tournaments. I should say, it needs to go to Asia, to devide more equality, but that would be even more annoying with the time difference

Paris or London. I can't believe it will be in Istanbul in 2011.

Anywhere where they'll actually give a shit, but not the United States. USA have enough tournaments already (and important tournaments at that), and it was there for so many years.

New York, London, Paris? No. It can't be somewhere that already has a slam.

And LA? well we saw how that went. the tourney had to be moved down south cause nobody went to it.

Please don't think that I'm trying to hate on the culture of the Middle East - that's not my intention at all. I love the fact that tennis is expanding into new parts of the world, but I'm worried that the entertainment and quality of the game is getting lost in the business end of it all. People don't realize how much crowds play a role in a tennis tournament. They add energy and life; the players respond to the energy the crowd gives them.

Re: If you could choose which city the YEC was in, what would it be?

I just want it to follow the so called "roadmap" and be held in a place that actually makes sense. Right now, the "roadmap" is: outdoor Asia > indoor Europe > outdoor Middle East.

I would prefer the European indoor season to be extended the way it was a few years ago and have the YEC in a major european city each year - London, Paris, Madrid etc

Kuznetsova

... for some reason.
