Confirmed: Peer will play in Bali

Shahar Peer to Play Tennis in Indonesia
Reported: 18:20 PM - Oct/27/09

(IsraelNN.com)

Israeli tennis star Shahar Peer will participate in a tennis tournament in Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim nation. The Indonesians reportedly balked, but the World Tennis Federation threatened to cancel the tournament in Bali if Peer was not invited – and she was issued an entry visa into the country, the Federation said.

The Tournament, set for next week, will include the top 12 non-seeded female tennis players in the world. Israel and Indonesia do not have diplomatic relations.

I have spread my dreams under your feet
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams

Re: Confirmed: Peer will play in Bali

About fucking time they threatened to cancel it. They shouldve done the same in Dubai. They have to stamp it out.

Yey. Go Shahar.
Now stick it in their faces by staying there as long as possible by winning the tournament.
