Who are the mini-Henins?
The most important criteria: players who Henin usually struggles against, but almost always finds a way to beat! They have a similar game to Henin - using craft and excellent footwork, but are also able to turn on the power when they need to.
Henin usually performs better against aggressive/UE players ranked similarly to the mini-Henins.
A mini-Henin must also have had some success on the tour, just nowhere near the same level of success as Henin. When they are on, they can dismantle a similarly ranked or lower ranked power player just like Henin can dismantle.
I would argue the mini-Henins are...
NOT mini-Henins (that you might think they would be)
Agnieszka Radwanska (Henin has 2 easy wins over her)
Vera Zvonareva (her game is too far from Henin's style and Henin has 2 easy wins over her)
Amelie Mauresmo (Mauresmo has too many wins over Henin and too much success of her own to be considered a Mini-Henin)
Patty Schnyder (Henin leads 4-1, 3 of those heavily in Henin's favor)
Caroline Wozniacki (Has not played Henin)
Flavia Pennetta (Has played Henin once, winning)
Serena "Overweight" Williams (When Serena is out of shape, she plays more like a crafty player that Henin handles well... lol jk dont hate me)
Svetlana Kuznetsova (her game is more centered around power and wildness, but she still does have some interesting variety)
Anna Kournikova (including her for fun!) (2 tough wins, 1 extremely easy one, and 1 ok win for Henin...)
What do you guys think? Who are some other Mini-Henins? Who do you think could be or be similar to mini-Henins in the future (especially now cuz Henin's comin back!)?
