Luxemberg Mad At Mauresmo Not Telling She Withdraw

http://www.bgl-bnp-paribas-open.lu/en/news.php

Unfortunately, Amélie Mauresmo will not participate to this year's BGL Luxembourg Open.
With disappointment, we realized that we learned this information only late in the night by her agency from the U.S., and this morning already from the media, as well as on her personal home page.
We believe that the organizer should have been be informed first.

If I were Amelie, I'd tell Luxembourg to suck it.

Well clearly she's a big name and a big draw for the tournament but Amélies mind isn't on tennis these days. She's deciding whether or not to continue her career so I'm sure she didn't even think of Luxemberg and surely that's why she has an agent anyway to do that type of work for her.

RIP Elena Baltacha, thank you for dedicating your life to a sport we all love. You'll be missed but never forgotten.

The tournament is right. If this were the usual from Serena, I would say the same thing - Amelie is no different.

Thanks for pointing this out. The thread title makes it sound as though they've only just found out. They've actually known for a week.
