Was it a foot fault?

I stole these videos from some other threads. I think its pretty clear that it wasn't a foot fault.. or too close to call at 15-30 in the final game.

Re: Was it a foot fault?

I think it's a really shitty angle and impossible to tell accurately. My reaction was that the edge of her shoe just drifted onto the line but I wouldn't put the house on that, viewing it from that angle.

The linejudge had the best view of all and we have not had a replay of that line from her perspective. That would clear a lot up. But since it hasn't yet surfaced, I'd be surprised if it existed.

The camera angles are crap, the line judge had the best view so I believe her.

yeah, probably. It looks like she slid her foot up. Even Serena thinks so.

Re: Was it a foot fault?

How can you say it's "pretty clear" it wasn't a foot fault? This video tells you absolutely nothing.

Q. Would you be interested to see if you actually foot faulted?

SERENA WILLIAMS: I'm pretty sure I did. If she called a foot fault, she must have seen a foot fault. I mean, she was doing her job. I'm not going to knock her for not doing her job.
