To people criticizing the lines woman

Many people seem to be placing blame on the line judge for Serena's outburst and untimely loss on the match. The lines person was simply doing her JOB, her DUTY, her PROFESSION to call it the way she see's it within the rules of the game of tennis. So why get on her? Some are even questioning should she have made that call in that juncture of the match? Well I ask why should she consider comprimising HER INTEGRITY and also the integrity of the sport, by not making proper calls due to the juncture, state, or timing of the match? She was just doing her job.

Re: To people criticizing the lines woman

You cant make a call like that. It didnt even look like a foot fault........ There will be no investigation into the call the lady made (she also made some horrible calls in the first set) and THIS is the problem with the tour IMO... Theres no repercussions for these people.....All the linesmen head chair etc....who get involved in these horrible calls nothing happens to them...

The lady from Serena's 2004 match against Capriati is still officiating her match.... The chairman who did Venus match against Sprem in 2004 was back up in the chair... Especially when its so obvious that they were wrong (not saying it is now, but they should have the technology to check a footfault) these people SHOULD be fired for being horrible at their job or at least fined....

Venus Ebone Starr

Serena Williams

Madison Keys

Very gracious from Serena. However there has to be a camera angle showing the footfault. What is being shown is a shot from the back which is no help. I did notice one thing Serena's foot did not appear to move forward only rotated parallel to the line. She should not have made that call unless she was already standing on the line.

Beat'em down Ms Williams, beat'em down!

Victoria Duval - coming to a slam near you
Françoise Abanda definitely a future #1 --- Taylor Townsend devastation on the march
Venus and Serena ferocious grannies --- Kimiko Date Krumm great granny still doing her thing.
