Friday's semifinals are virtually certain to be rained out.

A huge storm system is moving up the Atlantic Coast. They will probably have to play the women's final on Sunday afternoon. I can not remember if this ever happened before at USO?

Last year we had a final on sunday. The weather was shitty at the end of the tournament. It happens again.

I'm in Brooklyn about an hour away from the tennis center. Judging by the weather here, I'm almost certain it's going to rain tomorrow as well, for at least part of the day. They might not be playing the women's semis until Saturday night, if at all.

So God doesn't want the Open to come to an end. Always rain on the final couple days.

We had a huge storm about three days before the open began. We're lucky we got to see any tennis at all, really.

Mother Nature is crying over the fact Wozniacki is going to make it to a Grand Slam final.

Is there NO possibility they could get Serena vs Kim done today?

I think with her serve and her athleticism, her power, her court mobility, I just think when she’s on, she’s the greatest player we’ve ever seen, ever. Now, whether her record is the greatest remains to be seen because she hasn’t retired yet. But I think she is really the greatest player. I have seen Martina and Steffi at their best. There are little chinks in those players’ armor, but it was a different era, where you didn’t need to be the perfect player.
