Re: Crowd boos Shriver

She was booed because she said Carolina was a huge favorite tonight, and for her next match. Wasn't wise choice of words by Pam.

No she was booed straight after what she said about Wickmayer in a who the hell is she type way. Pam is such a fool and at least Wickmayer can hit a topspin forehand!

RIP Elena Baltacha, thank you for dedicating your life to a sport we all love. You'll be missed but never forgotten.

Shriver deserved to get booed for pronouncing Wickmayer in a derisive way to the New York crowd like Yanina was a scrub or something. :mad; Actually with the tragedy of her mother dying when Yanina was only 9 Wickmayer's great U.S. Open run is just as good if not better a story as Clijsters or Oudin's great U.S. Open runs this year.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett
