How to get tickets for US open labor day weekend?

I'm from california and have not been to the us open. I'll be staying at a friends place but I need to know the best way to purchase ground passes. Should I purchase it through the us open website or can I just show up on that Friday, saturday and Sunday? What about tickets for Ashe? Thanks.

Re: How to get tickets for US open labor day weekend?

From what i could tell from ordering last night around midnight. Good luck.

I had trouble getting Arthur Ashe Tickets for labor day weekend online.
I settled with ground passes Sunday and Monday.

I would recommend not showing up Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and expecting to get ground passes for anything under 80 (american) dollars, if you can.
Purchase thru US Open site/ticketmaster (if you still can). Get will call.

I paid the price last year for ordering too late and barely was able to get tickets for the tuesday after labor day, which wasn't a bad day to go because most of the children were gone.
So again good luck.

I think all tix through Ticketmaster are sold out. You could just show up early and stand in line for tix, or buy through Ebay, even though you'll be charged more. Since I always buy my tix at the last minute, and hate standing in line, I got my Friday, Sept. 4 ground pass through Ebay. I didn't mind paying extra $20.

Last year I got mine through Craigslist.

I was able to order some last night but it's a different day.
Add to the fact that some people are trying to make some money off these tickets by reselling them and the fact that the average tennis fan has just recognized that the US Open is starting soon, I would not wait too long.

Just went to ticketmaster and ground passes are still available for 55 bucks on sat, sun and mon. I was pretty sure they were selling for 48. Anyway I'm not sure why you all said they were sold out lol.

You better get those tix NOW, lol.

Your luck is better than mine. These were NOT available at all last week.
