Should they implement the tie-break in the final set of AO, RG, and Wimbledon

Only US Open does this for 3rd set women's and 5th set men's.

A difference would be: match would end faster rather than letting it on and on.

No. It adds intrigue and really changes the scope of the third set. I like it a lot esp. at Wimbledon.

LOL women's slam finals nowadays rarely even reach the third set.

Erm, do people not understand what the final set means? It doesn't mean the actual final, it's the final set of each match (3rd for women, 5th for men).

I voted no. They should remove it from the US Open if anything. It's a total anti-climax and it means that you can have surges of energy rather than consistency.

No I have seen some great 3 setters that was lucky they never ended in tiebreaks

remember Davenport Vs Henin at AO in 2003

I think it was 8-6 in the 3rd from memory

Queen Vee, Super Rena, Krazy Kuzzie

just have the returner stand still and the server gets 5 serves at his head, the one with the most hits wins the match.

much more entertaining than a final set TB

Good luck to my favs

Hell no.

As exciting as final set tiebreaks can be, I don't like them in grand slam events. You can fluke your way through a tie break with (dare I say) 'lucky shots'. Not the case with two game advantage.

Kuznetsova

... for some reason.

7-6 is standard, 16-14 is legendary.

Re: Should they implement the tie-break in the final set of AO, RG, and Wimbledon

Whilst I do enjoy final set tiebreaks for the most part, I just feel that they are such a lottery and it's a shame when a match is decided by one or two fortuitous points for either player. So no, those 3 Slams should keep the system the way it is.
