Isn't it amazing that there are only 3 women ranked in the TOP 100 who have played in less tournaments than the number 1 ranked player in the world Serena Williams. Serena has only played in 11 tournaments in the past 52 weeks and is still ranked number 1.

#9 Lindsay Davenport 9 tournaments
#79 Myriam Casanova 10 tournaments
#87 Natalie Tauziat (retired) 6 tournaments

Who ever said you needed to play a full schedule to be the best.

no, it definitely is amazing and only goes to further highlight her dominance of the tour (700 odd points in front of #2 and only with 11 tournaments... it's certainly amazing)
