Protected Rankings?

it's a little pointless but i was just curious as to which players are currently using protected rankings higher than 250? any help would be great, i'm sure there are aficionados here who can assist me

Re: Protected Rankings?

Sharapova has one but does not need to use it for Stanford or the US Open.

Perebiynis, Shaughnessy, Granville, Morigami, Osterloh are ones that come to mind.

Re: Protected Rankings?

Does Serena get one from Miami onwards? As far as I know ,you need to be absent from the tour for a minimum is 6 months to be eligible for a protected ranking.

Re: Protected Rankings?

serena wont need a protected ranking, even if she missed the cut off for a tournament when she comes back there is no way she wouldn't get a wild card into it.

plus protected rankings don't influence seeding, so there is no reason for a high profile player like her to need one.

Wouldn't matter. Her Wimbledon win guarantees her a ranking for every MD.
