FINALLY they have a Ladies' Wheelchair event, 4 years after the men started playing at Wimbledon. Disgraceful how it took 4 years to catch up, even in this day and age.
I thoroughly enjoy the wheelchair events, even left Centre Court during the 2007 men's singles final for a while to watch the wheelchair final. This is the first time I have got to see the women play. I can already understand why Vergeer is UNSTOPPABLE, she is amazing, hits her 1 handed topspin backhand just as well as Henin did and moves so well. And the no.2 player Korie Homan has a better service action than many of them on the WTA.
Anyway it's on Red Button now, I urge everyone to watch
