Cool fascinating Serena stat...

from www.tennisone.com

In the department of Strange Footnotes: Serena lost 29 games, or 4.1 games per match, on the way to the title.

This is the most efficient result of any player this year in a Tier II or higher tournament.
what an amazing statistic!

Smile Serena Shines

Serena had a great US Open & Wimby.

Btw - LeVar Arrington was being interviewed today on the local news channel during the sports segment, and he was wearing a big S in the center of his shirt.

The female anchor asked him if the S stood for superman - Steve Spurrier or (and she didn't finish it). Dummied up me didn't get it at first - until her co-host busted her out and told LeVar that the other name was Serena. LeVar just grinned. I'll say!

Amazing Venus stat: Venus has advanced to the final in five out of the last six slams.

Not bad for my girl either.

And we should add that Venus won TWO of the last six slams which, aside from Serena's THREE recent slam victories, IS ONE MORE THAN THE REST OF THE ENTIRE WTA COMBINED (speaking of still more amazing stats)
