Red face I am bummed

I am bummed both of my favorites made it to the final and both lost!

Sampras is still in Agassi's head. No way Sampras wins if Agassi makes him play like he does everyone else....And, I am not sure but it seems like they did every thing to in this tournament to help Sampra win. I think he only played one match in the heat of the day...oh, hell - perhaps I am a bit bitter.

Venus, she played poorly like she did not have a plan to win. She has got to get a handle on that serve and loose the big earring. I think its a distraction, it's a distraction to me. Yeah, Yeah, I know she could care less what I think, but I was really afraid she was going to injure herself.

Oh well...there's always next year!

i hear ya. i am only half-bummed. thank goodness Serena won. if she didn't my weekend would've totally sucked.

honestly, i totally expected Agassi to lose to the Android. as you say, the Android is inside his head and nothing Stefanie does seems to dislodge him.

if i were the Android i would pull a Steffi and retire now. now that would totally mess with Agassi's head once and for all.

thanks Serena!! let me go watch that tape again.

TC, you're a Serena fan now? Way to cover all your bases!

And congrats to Pete Sampras. He is the greatest! Honestly, I thought Agassi would win the match after he won the third set. But he's just not the A - Train anymore!

And when Sampras and Agassi are gone, men's tennis will really suffer!

where the fuck have you been? this is the first time you read a pro-Serena post of mine? well Cat you're sadly mistaken but i'm not covering any bases. what bases exactly are there to cover? what the fuck would i have to lose by agreeing with T4L that my weekend was totally bummed if that was indeed the case?

Sorry! TC, I was just needling you a little. But I realize it was the wrong thing to do.

Nice interviews after the match! Tony Trabert let each player speak for about 10 seconds. What a joke! 60 Minutes could have waited another 60 seconds!
