Spot the errors: Way to go, Official Wimbledon website.

http://www.wimbledon.org/en_GB/news/...239075031.html

"By nominating Safina in first place Wimbledon have followed the ranking list in almost every position except one, where former champion Maria Sharapova is placed 24th meaning everyone below her moves down one. Sharaprova, who was champion in 2004 at the age of 19, will appreciate a seeding after missing most of the previous year with injury and falling to 59 in the rankings. Alona Bondarensko suffers the most with a drop to 33rd which means no seeding place."

I count three typographical and/or informational errors in this one paragraph. See if you can find them! And maybe you can find more.

Great job, official tournament website!

(Note: I am not counting Wimbledon's ignorance of its own rule involving seedings as an error.)

The first sentence should also have a 'the' in front of 'first place.'

Off topic but , is it true that there won't be livestreaming this year for several courts?

Sharapova | Jankovic | Pavlyuchenkova

Yes. Apparently the author of this article is the only person in the WORLD to have not heard about this amazing, unprecedented* feat nine zillion times in the last five years.

(Note: winning Wimbledon at 17 is neither amazing nor unprecedented, although it's treated as such when you're tall and blond.)

Hang on...I'm confused , why is everyone moving down one place if Bondarenko has been replaced?

Bondarenko and Sharapova are spelled wrongly, of course.

she wasn't replaced, she got bumped from the seeds... Maria was inserted into the 24th spot moving everyone else down one seed... and moving bondarenko out of the seeds from 32 to 33

Okay....sorry for being an idiot but if Bondarenko was bumped to 33 then how does that affect anyone ranked higher than that? Surely Maria just took Bondarenko's place and everyone else would just stay where they are?
