Question What fuelled the increased crowd support Mauresmo received in the..

match against Venus, that Mauresmo did not have in the match against Jennifer? Both Venus & Jennifer are Americans playing in their home country. Both are ranked higher than Mauresmo. Both already have a collection of grand slam titles. Clearly Mauresmo's increased support was not underdog related, otherwise it would have been evident in the Capriati match. HONESTLY, what do you think fuelled the increased crowd support for Mauresmo and the boos at the end of Venus's match in New York?

For the record, NY has always been famous for cheering the underdog. Just because Venus did not get a lot of cheering does not make this anything new.

If you would like me to go down a list of players who have not been crowd favorites of certain matches at the US Open I can easily do that for you angelia.

Not sure what you are trying to start, but that is definitely not gonna work for me sweet thing.
