Serena enjoying being a Parisian

Sorry it's a French article, I'll tried to translate bits of it.

.......................................

Well basically she says the apartment she bought in 2007 is in the 7th district where there are a lot of shops, not far away from RG. It's an old building and a 2-bedroom apt. She loves going shopping at the market (rue Clerc) every morning buying fresh vegetables and fruit...and wonderful honey. And the inevitable French bread, the "baguette". She says most of the shopkeepers know her and she enjoys having capuccinos at nearby cafés. She invited Venus to live with her for RG. She enjoys renting a bike, and the other day she took the train to visit the Chateau de Versailles. For dinner instead of going to restaurants she likes her mother to cook for her.

Venus and Serena on a bike to go shopping?
She also mentions that people rexognize her on the Champs Élysées.

Rue Clerc is between the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides.
Good spot and good view, I guess.

Re: Serena enjoying being a Parisian

That's so cool she has her own place there. I think its so smart for tennis players (the ones who can afford it) to just buy homes near all the grand slam sites. I mean, you know you'll go at least once a year, and it's freaking New York, Paris, London and Melbourne. Who wouldn't want homes in those cities.

hunger, desire, fire..........
stength, power, precision.........
talent, court sense, smartness........
no i am not talking about a racket or a squirrel, i am talking about the former and future number 1..............
martina hingis!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck Justine Henin Hardenne, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, Mary Pierce, and any of my other favorites that I might have forgotten about at this moment.

That is not Peng in the picture.. anyway I hope they're not victims of racism in Paris, because French people can't tolerate non-white people from my observations of just being there.
