Anyone else disturbed by...

That creepy Longines commercial on the Tennis Channel where Andre and Steffi make all those miserable children draw pictures of them?

Yes! They are definitely creepy. Why is the Tennis Channel keep showing the same commercials? Don't they have any other advertisers? However, I will say that I never get tired of the Lactoste commercial with Roddick and the hot models.

Perhaps, you'd prefer a Longines commercial in which they showed Hingis teaching the same miserable children how to snort cocaine. The new slogan might be "Elegance is all in how you snort." ---

Steffi Graf was part of a youth tennis group that was studied from age 12 and then followed, and the scientists called her "the perfect talent" even then. In addition to her many tennis-specific skills, her aerobic capacity was on par with the best distance runners in Europe. --- David Epstein, The Sports Gene

Re: Anyone else disturbed by...

I needed a good laugh right about now.

Those Longines ads:

Some of the kids in those ads look like they not-so-secretly hate Andre or the director.

But remember the halcyon days of Tennis Channel ads, where every ad was either a creepy self-satisfied couple from eharmony.com or that lady in the wig saying "Working from home changed my life"?

Oh I remember when they showed they footcare product of people scraping dead skin off their foot into a plastic thing then emptying it into the trash. And it showed all these nasty warty feet as the "before" pictures.

My number one: Victoria Azarenka

ATP: Novak Djoković
