Does anyone else only get excited about the GS's

Is anyone else underwhelmed by the tennis at a PREMIER event.
Im not just saying this because im a Williams fan but Madrid has been pretty average.

The week to week tennis this season has produced below par matches.

Even the big tournaments Miami and Indian wells only had a few good matches

TBH the Australian Open wasnt great but there is always added excitement at the grandslams

Do you guys agree

What is exciting you about this season?

i only really get excited for the slams, miami, and then the odd tournament that has some of my favorites (but only for as long as they are in the draw)

ugh, why do they all suck????????

Does anyone else only get excited about the GS's?

I'm sure a lot of people only get excited by the Grand Slams. But I'm not one of them.

Certainly not. If that were the case I would only be posting here/watching tennis for 8 weeks a year.

Re: Does anyone else only get excited about the GS's

Definitely not.

I'm getting excited whenever my faves play well in a tournament and I follow some lower ranked players on challengers too. My favorite tournaments have always been Stuttgart, Luxembourg and Antwerp (which no longer exists ).

The Grand Slams have a special atmosphere and you know they are the most important tournaments on tour, but WTA tour doesn't last only 8 weeks a year.
