Oh my. Congrats on winning Dinara, but this was far from convincing
Na Li is just sometimes. She hits a beautiful winner just to follow it by a pathetic UE

Stats are bad:
Dinara 18 34
Na 18 44

Swiss champs.

Re: Madrid R2 (1) Dinara Safina Def Na Li 63 76(2)

Not a very impressive performance by Dinara. She was back to her old bad habit of showing tons of frustration, which gives a huge boost to her opponent. Why? Thought she was over that nonsense. She didn’t have any fire and only approached getting ‘into the zone’ during the 2nd set tiebreak.

Why didn’t Dinara call for her coach at 2-2 in the second set when so obviously struggling? Na sure benefitted when her coach came out after the second set loss.

Santana appeared worried that his tourney might lose it’s 5th marquee player, dodged a bullet.

Not a great match, lots of wild errors by both players but also some nice shots. Well done Dinara for getting the win in the end, she played well when she needed to. Don't exhaust yourself too much before RG, Dinara

I hope she gets thru this week healthy.
Next tournament is a big one for Dinara.

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter....
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there
Enjoy This Moment!!
HEALTH and HAPPINESS to EVERYONE
