Is the indoor season anyone's fav part of the year?

Usually I'd say that the 6 weeks of RG, W'don and the 2 grass court weeks were my fav, but I also really love the indoor season right at the end, and the year end champs are my fav event.

Dunno why, it might be due to the coverage and the type of players who do well, but seeing leipzig, moscow, zurich, linz et al really gets me more excited about tennis than say, the indoor season consisting of paris and antwerp in february. Its also prob a personal thing cos it reminds me of watching all the tapes from last yr while in my uni room etc. fun.

I would say that most people don't really care either way for the indoor season, as when talking about rankings and who deserves what etc, people often forget the indoor season, or mark it as unimportant - why is this?

Hi Sonic,
This time of the year isn't more important to me than the rest of the year, but the end of the season starts to show me what to expect when the Australian Open comes around.

Thats when the tour comes to my home town, and it's really just nice to see all the players fit, health and in good form during the end of season champs and so on.

Also, I just recently got ESPN so I'll get to see the ATP Championships which is a bonus.

Catch ya soon Sonic

Well Eursport brings most of it so thats cool. But i dont really like the women's indoor season, cuz all are baseliners & the courts are the least-fitted to them.
