After about 200 voters just 4 out of 10 of this poll options has 10+ votes (over 5%) and that says us how poll-options in this poll sucks and is not smart selected. No Maria Sharapova, Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic
- but for example there is Virgine "Who" Razzano (with her one vote
).
I find by search results of
fufuqifuqishahah final poll at end of last season about
best match of the 2008 (he create several "Qualification" threads to get final-9 options) and here is final results of that voting:

39 US Open Final: S. Williams def.
J. Jankovic 64 75
28 Australian Open 1r:

And when we voted here about 2007 match of the year I remember that YEC/2007 final between Justine Henin and
Maria Sharapova has (by far) most votes...
So where is Maria, Ana and Jelena in this poll, and what players like Razzano doing here? For example I don't think that Jelena Jankovic has the most beautiful game in WTA when she is ON, but fact is that her game style is just perfect for every opponent to show her best so no big surprise that in last 2-3 seasons JJ is involved in more spectacular matches and real WTA showdowns than any other WTA player. But if for this thread is only relevant one-seeded beautiful game where is Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic there? Since when hitting winners all the way is "ugly" in tennis? Is long relies which include even moon-balls sometimes and "wait for opponent error" tactics really such beautiful to watch, unlike Sharapova or Ivanovic "ATP Copycat" game style??? Also together with game style why to ignore players "personal charisma" when we talking about this subject? Love or hate her, but is always exciting to watch Sharapova or Ivanovic. I'm not talking about sex appeal - Serena is not so sexy at all, but has maybe strongest "personality" ever in womens sports history (or for example Clijsters is also not model-looking girl, but has that extra factor on court which crowd always feeling).
Also, we talking here about "at their best" so Svetlana Kuznetsova and Dinara Safina should be also there for sure. When theirs game is ON, both is attacking close to elite WTA power-hitters and their defense works very impressive. BTW out of this I voted for Venus.
