Roddick doing some major acting AGAIN!!!

The trainer said that he had an acute and severly bruised foot and that it possibly would lead to a default...Roddick was even walking gingerly during the first set and half and, MIRACULOUSLY, he is running to the chair at the change over! And running back and forth getting to drop shots and lob. You have to give it to him, he is such a great actor . Anyone is tired like me!

Even Jim and John are talking about FAKE injury!

God I'm sick of him! And the worst part about it, is that he is only 20 years old. We might have 15 years of faking to go...

Best of Luck to:

WTA: Anna Kournikova, Elena Bovina, Elena Dementieva, Barbara Schett, Anastasia Myskina, Maureen Drake, Marie-Ève Pelletier, Stephanie Dubois, Milagros Sequera

ATP: Marat Safin, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Fernando Gonzalez, Feliciano Lopez, Richard Gasquet, Arnaud Clément, Sébastien Grosjean, Daniel Nestor, Guillermo Coria, Frank Dancevic, Simon Larose, Rafael Nadal

He's hurt Rus. You can see it on his face. He has a heel injury and a sore back. I unfortunately think injuries are going to hold him back from totally fulfilling his great potential.

And don't forget that hard courts are awful on the body. Even a young body like Roddick's. How many players have withdrawn from this years men's draw? I think it's about ten!

I don't know if Andy can hold on! Three out of five sets will take it's toll on a player.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

I didn't believe the injury either, until they showed that picture of his foot, it was not looking too good. The trainer said that it was a bone bruise, and that is what it looked like when they showed his foot.

Thanks Mrs G and JP!

If Andy Roddick is going to have a long and fruitful career, he's going to have to concentrate on the majors and play a decresed schedule. I think playing about 15 tournament a year would be just right for Roddick. He's not exactly light on his feet like Lleyton Hewitt is, or Stefan Edberg was. Edberg never missed playing a grand slam tournament! I just hope Andy has similar longevity. But I don't know. He has gotten a few leg and foot ailments early in his career. And that a worry to me.

i liked him when he first came on tour and when i didn't see much of him on tv. These days, his fist pumping is worst then Hewitt and the bowing is rediculous.

All I saw was a dark spot on his foot. makeup can easily make a dark spot. How do you run around full speed on a hard court with that nasty bruise and not at least appear to have difficulties? I think Andy is playing much much better than in the past cuz he is PATIENT in rallies and really moving the ball around with angles. But the acting is ridiculous.
