What happened to pat mcenroe's prediction of hingis beating seles.

wow im sure i heard him say hingis should get through the match, and seles is not a hard hitter...24 winners to hingis 8....i guess pat should not open his mouth and say something he will regret...the match didn't even go three....next time don't count her out.

The same thing happend as it did when he predicted that Monica would lose in 4th round of French Open to Hantuchova.

Patty Mac knows nothing about women's tennis. Simple as that.

Pat Mac actually changed his tune the next night. He gave Seles the slight advantage.

A lot of people underestimate Seles because she's now one of the older players on the tour. Doesn't experience count for anything?

I am not a PMac fan, but he is only doing his job. He is supposed to sit in his chair, and when they ask him for his opinion on matches he gives them. He gave his opinion on Seles and he ended up being wrong, so I don't see what the big deal is.

It wouldn't be if he didn't pick against her at the most ridiculous times. He has predicted so many matches against her that she's won its ridiculous.

Seles picked up her game considerably today. The guy was basically wrong, if he had picked Monica to win, and Hingis won, he would be in this same situation.

There is no such thing as a ridiculous prediction, in tennis anybody can beat anyone on any given day, maybe when he picked Monica to lose all those times, he actually thought she was going to lose. He has picked many people to win who have gone on to lose, and this doesn't bother me because thet is what his job is.

I have no problem with him commenting on it, because he is involved in the tennis scene all year round, he may be more into the men's game, but he is around enough to know about the women's game. I don't like it when people like Ted Robinson, who knows nothing about tennis decide to give their opinion on the game.

Patrick is a total idiot. Sure he has a right to make predictions, and we have aright to think he's ignorant and idiotic

Whatever he predicts for a match is fine, but for him to say that Seles is not a big hitter *IS* wrong and makes him ignorant.
