Talking Seles bashes talk of retirement!!!

In an interview with USA Network, the reporter stated that there had been talk that this was Monica's last US Open. She replied by saying Man at the Australian Open a newspaper said I was retireing and now people are saying this is my last US Open, I don't know where this information is coming from because I never said anything of that sort. She said that she loves to play tennis and retirement hasn't even come across her mind in the slightest way. Monica also said that it is becoming a boring question and they should let the players decide when they want to retire. She said that she has heard this same question for 2 years and it is really boring now. Monica also stated to the interviewer, when he asked the question, why ask those questions; I am still playing at a very high level and love the game!!!!!!!!!!

She was very gracious in the interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO MONICA

Yes Monica handled that tired questioning well. I was soo sick of them continually saying there are "whispers this is Monica's last Open." Imagine how boring that is for Monica.

monica finally got pissed? it's amazing she could stay calm so long!

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

Monica usually lets her raquet do the talking, but it is nice to see her be more open on this subject. I was not only getting bored of her being asked this same question again and again, but also of her answering it the same.

all monica really needs to do is get black on them, let them know if they mention anything of retirement she is upadeeup. and she should just get up from the interview and walk out. if she continually does this, i think word will get out that she isn't planning on retiring yet, so they can end the questions!
