Has anyone ever seen Amy Frazier with a suntan?

Has anyone ever seen Amy Frazier with a tan?

Poor Amy looks so pale most of the time that she look a little anemic.
I guess she has really sensitive skin, but that would leave me to wonder why she would choose this profession if her skin is unusually sensitive to the rays of the sun.

I have a feeling that she has a tendency to to redden rather than tan when she is in the sun.

I just wondered.

I noticed that too. Sometimes when she wears a white dress, you can't tell where her skirt begins and where her skin ends.

I think she looks cute, very fare Snow white. I don't think she will end up looking like sun damage queen Heidi Graf in her later years due to the visor that always covers her face.

There is nothing wrong with being fair, that's for sure. Your right I think its better than having to have your docter check every brown spec for cancerous cells.

Rocketta - A visor will not protect one from several years of overexposure from the ultra violet rays of the sun.

i just don't understand how she can avoid tanning, even with mega sunblock on. the hours and hours of practising and match play, all that sweating etc... would have thought the cream or whatever would at least partially wash away

whats ur secret amy?

Well, if you wear total sunblock it's like going out wearing bulky clothing, you are not getting a tan, and that woman wears an inch of sun cream if not more. Part of why she looks sooooo white is the white suncream EVERYWHERE on her! - so she's not really exposed to the sun...

I really love Amy, doesn't she look completely out of place on a tennis court? she looks like those 40 something women that are around tennis clubs only because is the posh place to be seen and can't play for fear of breaking a nail - Don't get me wrong, I really love that about Amy! the way she sits on the change overs, with such lady like composture, or how she moves around the court, she's so delicate and lady like! she makes every single other player look butch or tomboyish in comparison!

If there is one player on the whole wta tour that dances to her own tune, that is Amy Frazier, that's for sure!

How does Amy stay so white?
She doesn't even seem to turn red from the sun.

I wonder is she a "daywalker" who lives on blood?

Rocketta, I saw Amy play Saturday NIGHT and she still wore a visor! I think it's either a medical reason OR she has a fear of skin cancer.

Great assessment, Gallofa. I've seen the exact same habits when I've watched Amy over the years.

No, I saw her play Nagyova in Rd1 of the Aussie Open and she looked very pale, but very nice.

She's playing great tennis at the moment, good on her

Actually talking about Amy, I just can't believe how long she's been around. I remember watching her in her QF match against Mary Joe Fernendez in the Australian Open 1992!
