I haven't watched the match. I understand that today was the worst performance by Agnieszka in a while, probably since her loss to Kateryna Bondarenko. Congratulations to Anastasia for getting that far. And the hope remains that Agnieszka returns to her form soon.
The cinderella story continues! HELL YEAH! Amazing tournament from her, beating 2 top10 players, and now in the semies against a slamchampion. Really just well done, KEEP GOING!
OMG what a horrible match!
I cant believe I used to be a fan of Radwanska. Woah.
I really hope that Pavlyuchenkova can step up her game in the SF. Otherwise it will be a W.O. for Ivanovic.
Really bad match! Neither player did themselves justice. I actually think Pavly was lucky to win that first set - she clearly got tight when serving for it (twice) and had to rely on breaking Aga's poor serve.
This is one of the worst mathes I've ever seen Aga play. For someone who is known as a great thinker on court, today's performance was just mindless. Some of the drop shots she played shouldn't even be attemtped when she's high on confidence, let alone in a slump! I got the feeling many of them were played out of desperation as I felt the longer the rally went on, the more likely Pavly would come out on top
Very accurate. Yes, Agnieszka was clueless today. For me it was soemthing hard to believe. Unless she wasn't feeling well (for the fourth time this season). In that case that would be understandable. Otherwise not. Women's tennis really surprises me: you can't be sure of anything.
Very bad match... It's sad to watch such matches when two players play badly. Full respect for Anastasia that she took her chances even though I don't like her tennis at all. :yeah: I can't really see her making finals. She won't beat Ana for 99%. Agnieszka - just take some rest after Miami... I hope for a not bad clay season for you.
