It is true, she sucks in every aspect of the game at the moment.

Stay away.

I still have faith and hope she can find the game she had at the end of the year last year!

The Serb also complained of ‘feeling too heavy’ following weeks of intensive training during the off-season.
“In the beginning, I felt really different with my body because I got a little bit of muscles and I felt heavier on the court,” she said.
“I was always a certain weight and always my best weapon was my legs. I always moved and I had the anticipation and I was always on the ball.

This is not an excuse. If you say that it is an excuse then you are blind, just look how she is running.
Then, I think she got more muscles in order to be more powerful. Because she was an awesome "counter-pusher" and her team wanted her to be stronger and more powerful, they wanted her to have "a killing shot". Now she is not the counterpusher she used to be and she doesn't have "a killing" shot, she has not confidence, she has nothing, she loose. That's simple

Sharapova | Jankovic | Pavlyuchenkova

“They are definitely a good example of how local communities can overcome the ‘victim syndrome,’ take greater control over their lives and build productive futures for themselves,” Ms. Sharapova said - UN Goodwill Ambassador

I think Jelena is good for tennis.
If you want to watch kind of matches like Serena vs Safina (AO 09) again and again then enjoy it.
I don't say that Serena is a ballbasher but in the top 10 they have all a similar game, jelena is an exeption, before she could get a lot of balls back, and that's why Jelena vs Serena (USO 08) was way more interesting than Serena vs Safina (09).

Now I understand that lots of you dislike Jelena because she was #1 without a slam. But once again, that was not her fault.

Jelena is really good for the game. I remember that when she lost to serena (us 08) you were ALL saying that she is awesome and that she will win a slam (there was even a poll made by someone who wasn't a jj fan who asked when she will win her first slam). You always change your minds, and I know that in 5 months you will all like her.

Jelena's matches are always entertaining and I really hope she gets it together. I like the drama and who wouldn't appreciate that backhand?

Ever since Justine came down with her virus, I began to think that perhaps Pat Etchuberry's traning methods were not really good for women. Sure, Justine did get stronger and it helped her game for awhile. Eventually, her training efforts caught up with her which probably caused her illness. After her recovery she left Pat and trained with European trainers and had her best year in 07. I am afraid Jelena is suffering a similiar fate as Justine. She needs to go back to her real body and game. If she would improve her serve, and have her former game style, she could be much more successful. Get away from Pat Jelena!

Whenever she loses to a Williams, she is tolerable.Otherwise, she is scum.
I remember in 2007, at the US Open QF, after her loss to Venus, she gave a short on court interview and a lot of Venus fans were praising her saying she was sweet to do that as she wished Venus good luck in her next match...It's all good as long as she keeps losing to them...
