how repsectful to justine. she is down 6-1, 1-0. she could make a comeback. but i see serena crushing either one of these two.

USA said that Daniela hurt herself in the second set. But maybe he meant Justine, anybody know?

No, it was Daniela. They showed a clip of her slipping and falling down hard.

Justine was up 2-1 so a comeback is not out of the question. Besides, Daniela is injured so who knows whether she can continue or how well she can play.

Serena vs Daniela 6-2, 6-3

Serena vs Justine 6-3, 6-2

They said Daniela sprained her "thumb" not finger if that matters & is 50-50. Whether Daniela can play Monday or not I hope she gets back to 100% quick!

Get well soon Daniela!!

DANIELA HANTUCHOVA = #1

Good luck Nathalie Dechy & Dinara Safina too!

I actually read that Daniela hurt her wrist not her finger, and I saw the photos on the webcam and the training was looking at her fingers, I think she was looking at her wrist but it was difficult to say.

There was a photo of Daniela on the floor and she looked in a lot of pain

Well, if it doesn't rain , tomorrow we will see if Daniela's injury is serious or not. Anyway, I think Justine can make a comeback in the match. She is more experienced.

nysaga, why are you starting this thread after Dani won the first set and is injured?

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett
