Most Dangerous Floater at Aussie Open??

This thread has kinda become a tradition of mine

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but as it stands the #32 seed will be Bondarenko (#34) because of the withdrawals of Li & Srebotnik.

So who the most most dangerous floater at the Aussie open?

Kuznetsova

... for some reason.

Well there is noramlly a suprise run from an unseeded player at each grand slam, no one is saying they will win or anything, just who the top seeds should fear facing in round 1 the most

Re: Most Dangerous Floater at Aussie Open??

Maybe Dellacqua? She has points to defend and seems to play well in front of a home crowd. Maybe she'll rise to the occasion and go on a run again this year.
Keothavong has been playing well recently too. She could do some damage as well.

All the top girls will dread seeing three letters playing them in the first round - P-I-N.

If ana drew her, I think Camille would go through

Problem Keothavong has is a lack of weapons - she isnt going to beat a top 20 player, but if someone can cause a shock, she is more than capable to take advantage of the draw opening up for her.

Re: Most Dangerous Floater at Aussie Open??

Despite the chokes and UE's on key points, Safarova looked very sharp in Brisbane last week. Seemed somewhere near her early 07 form. She'll be dangerous, just because she's so erratic. The danger is the uncertainty with her.

Dokic too, she's definitely not going to be a wallflower against top players IMO. Those groundstrokes have lost none of their potency. The serve on the other hand

Yeah Anne has a solid game, but she lacks a big weapon and top players can read that from the off. Could be a nightmare to play though if a top player was having a major-off day, because she does compete quite well.
