Roland Garros must have been a pretty good weight for her.
Somewhere along the line, it changed from 161 to 152, and maybe
less than that, last summer. Judging from her thighs in June, and
now--she seems headed back towards 160 again.
She always lose about 3 kilos of off-seasons "extra weight" between 1st january and 1st february, but b/c that stomach fly she already waste first 1/3 of january (not practicing with her fitness coach hard like she initially plans).
But talking honestly this will have more influence on Ana to have less photo shoots than media or her sponsors wants than on her game, because Australian Open is tournament where good movement is traditionally less important in comparasion with other three. That's why players like Davenport, Pierce, Sharapova or Fat_Serena_2007 wins title on impressive ways despite movement problems.
If she back her forehand, serve and confidence, this 2-3 kilos of extra-weight dont means nothing for her chances at AO.
and I'm not even fan of Ana Ivanovic... just an objective observer who realize how perfect she is
AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)
