Poor Hsieh, she led 3-1 and 4-2 in the third set. She played FANTASTIC, dominating Safina for a majority of the match.
First set was Safina starting off well and finding her range, the Hsieh broke and came back from a couple of break points and started playing fantastic from the baseline and using her usual touch shouts. Safina hitting quite a bit of errors but was really just confused as to how to play Hsieh and win.
Second set the both started well, then Hsieh got a bit excited and started hitting to many errors. Safina served well and was able to take the set convincingly
Third set saw Hsieh play INCREDIBLE tennis to get up a break. Really couldn't put a foot wrong and was handling the pace and pushing Safina around the court. Safina picked up her leven and broke Hsieh's crappy serve to steam roll her way back into the match. Got up 5-4 playing go for broke tennis but Hsieh survived another game until Safina just went for everything the next to games and it finally worked for her.
Badluck Hsieh, really good and fun player to watch. I personally thought she deserved the match but just getting a bit nervous at the wrong time.
