I was thinking the same thing. I don't think she's the sort of player that's gonna get many chances to play tournaments as the defending champion, besides bad Gastein next year if it's still on.

Excellent win for Ryoko

To those people saying its a bad loss, she used to be a prospect a few years ago but has struggled with injuries for a while. She has been out for over a year and this is her second tournament back, after Seoul quallies.
