How do you rate active players achievements in comparison to the greats??

I think this will be an interesting topic, with the state of womens tennis atm.

I was wondering where you would place some of the great active players in the list of all time greats. Of course graf, navratilova and evert have the best stats, but i find it interesting where people rank the likes of Dementieva, Mauresmo and Clijsters who have had most of their success outside the slams.

Heres my rank- Steffi Graf
Martina Navratilova
Chris Evert
Serena Williams
Monica Seles
Justine Henin
Venus Williams
Lindsay Davenport
Martina Hingis
Jennifer Capriati
Arantxa Sanchez Vicario
Maria Sharapova
Amelie Mauresmo
Kim Clijsters
Mary Pierce
Gabriela Sabatini
Tracy Austin
Conchita Martinez
Svetlana Kuznetsova
Elena Dementieva

WOMENS TENNIS FAN FIRST AND FOREMOST.

big support for... Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Petra Kvitova, Ana Ivanovic, Vika Azarenka

Lists are boring, subjective and pointless imo.

I really don't like the idea of ranking the greats of tennis. It just can't be done justice imo.

(4) There is no path to victory for Williams.Keys wins in straight easy sets.

Players Who've Played A WTATour Match After January 1, 2000

Top 5:
Martina Navratilova
Monica Seles
Serena Williams
Justine Henin
Venus Williams

Top 10:
Martina Hingis
Lindsay Davenport
Jennifer Capriati
Maria Sharapova
Kim Clijsters

Honorable Mention:
Amelie Mauresmo
Mary Pierce

The top 3 are the only ones that have a place among the top 10 best WTA players of the Open Era All-Time

Venus has a shot, but she's got QUITE a lot of ground to make up.

Career Grand Slam in your 20s? Been there done that. Career golden slam your 30s?
There's only 1.
Been around the world, copped all 4 thrice.

Give her another Wimbledon, and it's hard to believe someone wouldn't be a great with six.

Let them eat cake.
