Krajicek's new coach: Marc Dehous

Marc Dehous will be Krajicek's new coach during the 6 tournaments Krajicek will play the rest of this year. Marc Dehous is the former coach of Kim Clijsters. Krajicek is hoping he can bring her back to the top 30.
It's some kind of trial period, at the end of the year they will evaluate and see if they will continue to work together.

Too bad she doesn't seem to have dropped Allistair yet though.

Well, the team he made with Kim Clijsters was amazing, they did an awesome job together.
But the association with Kirsten Flipkens was a disaster.
I hope he helps Misa find her form back.

But when did he work with Flipper? She was injured so much the last couple of years.

Re: Krajicek's new coach: Marc Dehous

I doubt this will work. The Dehous is great at getting players into shape but misa is no way comparable with the fitness of a flipkins or clijsters. He should be able to get her serve/forehand back on track technically but krajicek's biggest problem is mental. And i think we've all seen that Dehous isn't capable of forming mentally strong players.

We'll see how this goes.

Allistair already got Misa "into shape" so she doesn't need another fitness coach. But I will wait to see how it goes these weeks before judging.

The year when Flipper made all the slams MD (from RG 2005 to AO 2006 I think) and when she cracked into top 100 she was working with him, and they worked together up until at least the begin of this year...

Actually I didn't even know they had split

This can't last. This misery can't last. I must remember that and try to control myself. Nothing lasts really. Neither happiness nor despair. Not even life lasts very long. There'll come a time in the future when I shan't mind about this anymore, when I can look back and say quite peacefully and cheerfully how silly I was. No, no, I don't want that time to come ever. I want to remember every minute, always, always to the end of my days.

I mean she's only been injured about 5 months this year.
