MY COMMENTS:

Su Wei HSIEH:
New career high for the double handed both sides player from Taipei. Su Wei schedule seems a little bit unreal. As a Top 90, she's still competing from time to time in weak challenger such as the one she played a fortnight ago at Tsukuba $25K. As Top seed, she logically won it beating surprising n°304 Xie in final.

FASTER MOVEMENTS IN THE TOP 1à, 20, 50, 100, 150 and 200

TOP 10: NO CHANGE

TOP 20:
Patty SCHNYDER n°11 (+2) and Nadia PETROVA n°20 (+2):

Nearly 30 y.o Patty captured her 11 WTA title at Bali Tier III $225K. As Top seed, she had a dominant week dropping no sets and beating n°85 Paszek in final.
Nadia seems to find back her tennis and fitness. Last week, she made it to the SF at Bali Tier III falling to 2nd seed and eventual winner n°13 Schnyder.

TOP 50:
Gisela DULKO n°44 (+2):
Surpringsly, no real rise in the Top 50. Gisela is the best progression...without playing...

TOP 100:
Tamira PASZEK n°63 (+22):
After a hard period since the beginning of the year, Tamira is back to what everbody's expecting from her huge talent. After slumping from 50 places frmo her best, she's on the way to rise back to the Top 50. Last week, she reached the final at Bali Tier III upsetting 7th seed/n°41 Errani, 3rd seed/n°16 in form Pennetta, Top seed/n°11 Hantuchovabefore losing to 2nd seed/n°13 Schnyder.

Top 150:
Zuzana ONDRASKOVA n°149 (+16):
This 28 y.o former n°73 player is back to the Top 150. What a better clue to play on the itf to regain confidence. Taht's what Zuzana did capturing her 17th ITF title at Brno $25K. In final, she beat 3rd seed/n°239 Sevastova.

TOP 200:
Menerva JUGIC SALKIC n°198 (+34):
4 years ago Menerva reached her career high at n°99, she's back to the Top 200 after winning her 14th ITF title at Martina Franca $25K. In final, as 2nd seed, she took the best over local favourite 3rd seed/n°260 Floris.

THAT'S ALL FOLKS, HOPE YOU'LL ENJOY READING MY THREAD AND AS USUAL DON'T HESITATE TO COMMENT

Magda.

From 230 to 65 this year is pretty amazing, and she still isn't done. Hopefully Magda can get to the top 50 by the years end.

Thanks fredbdx

Such threads are always interesting and useful. Thanks, fredbdx. Your data show how little movement occurred recently in the ranking table, with exception of Paszek.

Thx Malva!
Yes, the biggest Top 100 improvement is Tamira...as I said, an expecting rise from that player....and her rise is not finished for sure.
