Re: Bali: 1r Jill Craybas def. (8) Aleksandra Wozniak 3:6, 6:3, 6:2
She hasn't sucked since Stanford
She lost to Pennetta when she was obviously exhausted (though Flavia I am sure would have won anyway), won a round in Montreal before losing to the #2 seed, reached the quarterfinals of Cincinnati, lost to Davenport who is a better version of Aleks, at the US Open, and now the loss to Jill. She's had 2 losses to players ranked below her, Dechy, and Craybas, both of whom are very experienced veterans, who have track records of beating players ranked far higher than Wozniak throughout their careers, so hardly terrible losses.
Congratulations to Jill, she's had a solid 2008, and I hope she can finish up strong
Aleks, keep doing what you're doing, every match at this level is added experience
"Religion has actually convinced people that there is an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. Any if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But he loves you."
