Question Is there audio commentary to live Olympic tennis? NBC online doesn't have it.

Hello.

I'm able to watch the Olympic NBC online live tennis coverage. There are no announcers commenting on the match. I'm so use to hearing the commentators, I really miss it. It seems strange to have a tennis match on without it.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get live audio Olympic tennis commentary online in the USA? It's hard to imagine that no one in the United States is doing commentary.

So far NBC hasn't featured any live tennis coverage. I don't think they have covered any taped delay coverage of tennis either.

Has anyone been able to watch live Olympic tennis coverage in the United States or even delayed coverage on any USA TV stations?

I've just been following it online through the Olympic NBC channel.

Thanks for your help.

well there is a link to under the thread olympic live tennis( something like that) in GM and it gives you a link to watch tennis live

but CNBC was supposed to show tennis last night along with boxing and they neglected to show any tennis and two americans were on center court

none of them showed it and i think all us americans are just going to have to watch tennis on the internet with no commentating?????????unless for once they decide to show it?????

Thanks so much for responding to my questions. I appreciate it.

I tried to find that thread you had mentioned and I can't find it. For the link that you are referring to that gives the link to watch tennis live,
does it have any audio commentary with it? If not I'm sure I have those links already. Every online coverage I have found that lets me watch online has not had audio coverage. So that is why I was wondering rather anyone had discovered a way to get audio coverage while watching Olympic tennis online in the USA.

Then I also wondered if there has been any live tennis or even delayed Olympic tennis coverage on any USA TV stations. From what you are saying it doesn't sound like there has been.

It seems like so far Olympic tennis is being ignored in all of the USA TV coverage which is strange.

I really, really miss hearing audio commentary. I've been a tennis fan for years and it's so strange to have a tennis match on without it! It's hard for me to imagine that none of the USA tennis commentators are working at the Olympics considering how many Olympic sports have commentators working and providing commentary for their sport!

Thanks again for responding back. And if anyone does find any online Audio coverage for the Olympic tennis matches or finds any USA TV stations that are covering live or even delayed tennis coverage please let me know. Surely our USA tennis commentators aren't taking the Olympics off??!!!

Thanks.

I know personally I am tired of some of those commentators so I will gladly do without them on the online coverage....its always the same old things that I can do without hearing repeated. Wish you luck in finding coverage with them though.

I don't mind the lack of commentary. I love the sound of the racquet hitting the ball. And I love hearing the crowd and Serena's yelling. It's a break from stupid people like Austin.

We have no commentaries either on CBC's live feeds and I love it.

It's better without the incessant and biased commentary.

Question Re: Is there audio commentary to live Olympic tennis? NBC online doesn't have it.

Maybe I'll hear from someone who actually like the commentary and knows how to get it for the Olympic Tennis coverage here in the USA. To me an important part of the Olympic experience is the commentary. It doesn't even seem like the Olympics to me without it.

Also please let me know if anyone has seen tennis on any USA Olympic TV coverage. I don't think Olympic tennis has been on any USA TV station yet.

If the Olympic tennis coverage never gets any commentary or TV air play it sure will show that the USA networks don't value it or think that many care about Olpympic Tennis here in the USA! None of the popular, memorable Olympic sporting events that the USA public really cares about, goes with no commentary and no TV coverage. Not even in the early rounds.

Thanks everyone for your help and for reading my post.
