Oh I didn't know that.

So what does Larry Scott actually do as "Chairman & CEO"?

Eh, shouldn't Linda Ryley know or know of everyone with 5 years of experience as an international executive of the ATP or WTA. Place some calls Linda, stop being lazy by placing an ad and at least put down an email address. Who the hell posts a CV these days?

Venus Williams
Serena Williams

Re: WTA Tour Seeking a President

They need a competent and smart new president. Background in ATP/WTA shouldn't be a requirement because that would narrow down the talent pool way too much. The WTA really needs to restructure itself. Stop emphasizing quantity over quality. Way too many tournaments chasing too few stars. Top players have too many smaller, insignificant tournaments for them to accumulate points, collect appearance and prize money while avoiding other top players until they absolutely have to. Meanwhile they exhaust themselves and pile up the injuries playing in these smaller tournaments and have to pull out of large ones. It's anti-climactic and hurts ratings. They need a masters series like the men's aside plus the 4 grand slams. Quality over quantity.
