Lindsay's in trouble for the US Open

Considering she's been resting her knee since Wimbledon, this lingering knee injury must be serious. I doubt she's going to play at the US Open since the length of time between the Olympics and the last grand slam is shorter than the period she was resting after Wimbledon. This season just totally sucks for her.

Re: Lindsay's in trouble for the US Open

If I were Lindsay and had chose between playing in the olympics and US open I would choosing the olympics but Lindsay has to look after her long term health too. I don't get too upset about Lindsay[ withdrawing from tournaments but this one really sucks. I hope she can play the doubles at the olympics I do agree with you that it seems one last US Open seems totally out of the question.

Lindsay can still play doubles with Huber. Although I am not sure she will since Jill can easily take her spot and she isn't blowing Huber's chances.

This season has been so sad for Lindsay.

I would rather she retire than do herself any further injury.

This is my cool signature

TRUE! Lindsay needs to accept her physical reality and retire, for good. Her body can^t take the rigors ot professional tennis anymore. Age 32 is old for todays tennis players. She has had a great carrer, much longer than most.

I think my English is fine, plus I didn't provoce you at all, so why are you that harsh to me?!

I know it wasn't about the Olympics, but I still felt like writing that statement, so just leave me alone...

Hint Hint Lindsay.
Stop carrying that giant of a child named Jagger and perhaps your knee injury will get better.
