Ladies Doubles final moved to Court 1

Interesting move considering there is a match going on there which may even finish after the Mens Doubles. Maybe the best move would have been to put it off till tomorrow. Its getting late there.

Re: Ladies Doubles final moved to Court 1

that pathetic mens doubles match will probably finish in 10-15 mins so really makes no sense right now. better to have had it schedule for after the mens final and push mixed doubles to court 1

Well the match on Court 1 will also definitely also finish soon, because the third set is a match tiebreak. Also, they have to do a trophy presentation for Men's Doubles, regardless.

Good point. Hope the Ladies can finish their match tonight though. Its a pity though since I am sure all of them were looking forward to playing on Centre Court. Sad especially for Raymond/Stosur

I have been searching like crazy several sites but found none. Why wouldn't there be coverage for this when the mens match was shown?

Re: Ladies Doubles final moved to Court 1

Yeah, they just said with the simultaneous finish the Ladies will now be on Centre. I thought it was pretty quick of them to make that decision to move the ladies match to begin with.
