Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

poor elena

look on the bright side though - davenport could still be struggling with the knee injury. Safina has an "i hate grass" attitude, and then sharapova...... erm... yeah

Kuznetsova

... for some reason.

At least she'll defend last year's points

Ivanovic * Kvitova * Serena

Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

Playing Lindsay is good. This isn't 2005, and Lena will get a show court for round 3. Maybe Centre Court

Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

Well, if she's REALLY good, no one will complain about her getting any hard draw. As a fan, you should support that your player is the best and not get influenced by anything else.

Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

You never know she might just beat up on everyone

Bad, bad draw. Elena would have to play perfect tennis to beat Lindsay on grass

Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

No 5-8 seed has an easy draw. Serena has Kanepi and Bartoli.
Venus has a tough draw, Dani. Chaky has Stosur, who's in the Eastbourne SF

Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

Kanepi and Bartoli are not threats to Serena. Hantuchova won one set from Venus. Everyone is a threat to Chakvetadze.

GoldenBS as always.

Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

Kanepi made the RG QF and is a very dangerous floater.
Bartoli is in the Eastbourne SF and is very dangerous.

Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

Most of the players have all relatively easy draws (the top players) especially Ana. But ohwell.

Elena's is not that bad. As pointed out, once in round 3, if she can get past Davenport, which is definitely winnable, she'd probably beat Safina who hates the grass. Maria...well...try your best.

Re: Dementieva's DRAW OF DEATH

This draw is like her punishment for falling away in her RG QF I hope the match between her and Linds is a good one though.
