in addition.

Roland Garros has been won by the same player the last 4 years.
Wimbledon has been won by the same player the last 5 years.
US Open has been won by the same player the last 4 years.
Australian Open is the only one that has remained somehow open.

enough already with the men being so competitive.

while I regret ju's sudden retirement from the tour, this thread is deplorably silly. Neither Safina nor Ivanovic are four-time title-holding clay court specialists are they? Yes the men's final may have been a whitewash but Federer was up against it as the women were when Ju reigned supreme.

'I had plenty of boyfriends and lots of affairs, but they got furious when I made my name. People would ring up and ask me out. I'd say: "But I'm writing." 'And they'd say: "I see. You're too grand for us now." 'And I'd say: "Actually, I've always been too grand for you."

Nadal is ridiculous. Federer is the best tennis player on the planet.

If Federer can't figure Nadal out, no one can.

Men's tennis > Women's tennis
