Apology for Srebotnik comments

When Srebotnik made a comment that she would rather focus on tournaments and the slams instead of the Olympics, I was extremely pissed at her.

I felt she was letting down Slovenia. I felt that it was a negative approach to the Olympics.

Obviously I was wrong. She did the right thing for her.
It's paying off in her doubles and singles.

I congratulate Srebotnik for winning against Serena and I feel an apology is neccessary for ever doubting Srebotnik.

"Everybody always said I didn't get that job because my wife is white. If you're not strong enough to look through that then you have the issue."

Something needs to change.

Re: Apology for Srebotnik comments

May very well be her best slam ever if she continues in the singles and goes deeper in doubles

Katarina
Olympics isn't for everyone, I guess.

Hantuchova/Sugiyama def. (1) Black/Huber 6-7(0) 6-3 7-6(10) saving SEVEN match points, down 2-5 in the third, and down 2-6 in the third set tiebreak in three hours

Ai Sugiyama. Jie Zheng. Zi Yan. Tamira Paszek.
Yaroslava Shvedova. Nuria&MariaJose. Yung-Jan Chan. Elena Vesnina. Flavia Pennetta.

olympics is supposed to be about amateur sports , not pros who play year around so if tennis and other such sports are there is because of blatant commercialism and I applaud anyone who doesn't go there
